After 18 years of band history german dark rock band MYSTIGMA opens a new chapter with their brand new album "Unzerbrechlich".

Musically, it resembles its predecessor "Andagony", however the band shows a broad variety of new inspirations in their twelve recent songs which range between classic Dark Rock ("Bloodline") and melancholic, dark Goth-Metal ("Uhrwerk Stille").

Most of all, this new style is defined by the use of german language in their songs, with lead singer Torsten Bäumer passionately putting his individual "mystigma mark" on the songs.

Along with the eleven new compositions, a crisp version of Billy Idol's classic "Rebell Yell" was recorded, which serves as the final song of a catchy album rich in variety.
Producer Peter "Pani" Pauliks and mastering enginner Hilton Theissen ("Mob Research", Akanoid") / Elektrofish studio took care of the necessary rock sound. The intriguing artwork and the 12 page booklet again was designed by Vortext Arts.

After releasing their downloadable single "Tiefes Rot" in December 2012 as a foretaste of their new album, as well as playing some of the new songs live on their concerts with their new drummer Malte Hagedorn, "Unzerbrechlich" will be released in February 2013 along with another digital release, a new video and even more live gigs scattered throughout all of 2013.

Am 7.Dezember erscheint die erste Mystigma Single "Tiefes Rot" als Vorbote zum neuen Album "Unzerbrechlich", welches im Frühjahr 2013 erscheinen wird.

Auf "Tiefes Rot" zeigt sich die Band erneut musikalisch gereift und liefert mit dem deutschsprachigen Titelsong einen melancholischen Song, der perfekt in die winterliche Jahreszeit passt. Auf der Single befinden sich des weiteren ein Remix des Songs "In deine Hand" sowie ein bisher unveröffentlichtes Instrumental mit dem Titel "Aurora".

Eine zweite Single ist noch vor dem Album Release geplant sowie weitere Live Konzerte für das kommende Jahr.

Originally founded under the name of "Tears Of Mystigma", the band changed their name to the catchier "Mystigma" in 2005 after a couple of releases and numerous live performances (a. o. at the WGT). After the much-noticed album "Universal Surrender" (2005) it is time now for the new opus "Andagony".

This album being produced by Dieter Steffan at Lunatics Studios and audio-mastered by Vincent Sorg (In Extremo, Letzte Instanz; Xandria) at Principal Studios, is a full-blown gothic rock masterpiece. And every single beat of the twelve album tracks reflects the intense and creative development process which the band has experienced since the last album.

The band defines entirely new standards by this album. Straightforward but always with a sense of compositional nuances and melodies, the tracks go point-blank into your ears. And frontman and singer Torsten simply knows how to give the necessary depth, roughness and above all individuality to the songs with his coarse and soulful voice.

„Andagony“ is a vigorous and gloomy but always melodic rock album which is worth discovering. The official video clip to the single "Visions Incomplete" was presented in summer and already turned up on a couple of releases (e. g. Sweden Rock DVD, Gothic Visions II). There are already pre-releases of several songs on various compilations as well, such as the ECHOZONE Zillo CD magazine insert or the "Dark Allure" compilation.

In the course of the album release in the autumn of 2010, the band is going to present the new songs live on stage.
